THE WELLINGTON GROUP LIMITED

The Wellington Group Limited is a Northern Ireland registered property company that currently operates throughout the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States.

The Wellington Group is the parent company for 13 limited companies. The main focus of their business in the following areas:

• Development Land (UK);
• Residential Investments (UK);
• Office Investment (Belfast);
• Land Bank (UK);
• Residential Construction;
• Hotel Development (London / Krakow (Poland);
• Office Investment (Warsaw (Poland)); and
• Property Consultancy (mainly design and build projects in Ireland).

CORPORATE HISTORY

• 1993 – Business established to facilitate the buying and selling of investment properties in the emerging South Belfast market, growing to c80 units by 2000. Investment properties continue to be bought and sold by Trevor, and subsidiaries of The Wellington Group.
• 2001 – Establishment of Selected Management Services Ltd, which grew a client base of 94 property investors which it sourced investment property for throughout the UK. ‘SMS’ ran until 2005 and was involved in the sourcing of over 400 investment properties for its clients.
• 2002 – Diversification into land trading which was relatively in its infancy in Northern Ireland. This formed a large part of the organisations business until 2007
• 2004 – Establishment of the development side of the business through the construction of 6 apartments in Portstewart, Northern Ireland. To-date, the Group and its subsidiaries have constructed or are in the process of constructing over 100 residential units.
• 2007 – The Group entered the US market through the establishment of a D.C. based office and are currently negotiating the purchase of several large office investments.
• 2008 – The Group agreed a portfolio of 6 investment properties in Poland and has established The Wellington Group (Poland)
